  • Business Hub

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) service in the Hub functions as a private tunnel through the Internet that encrypts your data and secures your connection when using public Wi-Fi connections such as those in cafes or airports. VPN has servers in several locations, which means you can bypass geolocation restrictions and access your favorite content while traveling .

VPN does not have any configurable options within the Hub and can only be installed or uninstalled via the console. However, you can set a preferred disguised location via your end device's local client (see SecureLine VPN for more information).

The VPN service is available with Premium and Ultimate Business Solutions only.

Installing and Uninstalling

There are two ways to install/uninstall VPN from the Devices page in the Hub.

The first one is through the Manage Services option. We recommend this way in cases when you want to (un)install multiple services at once and/or include multiple devices in the process.

  1. If needed, select a customer/site in the drop-down menu
  2. Navigate to the Devices page
  3. Do one of the following:
    • For a single device, click More (three dots) next to it
    • For multiple devices, tick the checkboxes next to them, then click More in the top right corner
  4. Select Manage services to open the screen shown below
  1. Next to the VPN service, select On to install it or Off to uninstall it
  2. Click the Apply button located at the bottom of the screen
  3. Confirm the action once prompted

The other way to install/uninstall VPN is through a device's Services section. This way is usually preferred when the action needs to be performed on a single device.

  1. If needed, select a customer/site in the drop-down menu
  2. Navigate to the Devices page
  3. Click the alias of the device you want the VPN service to be installed on/unistalled from
  4. Go to the Services tab and click the toggle next to VPN so that it turns blue (install) or gray (uninstall)
  5. Click the Install/Uninstall button once prompted

Whichever way you opt for, the device agent will (un)install VPN once it syncs with the device(s). You will need to restart the selected device(s) for the action to be completed.
