Setting On-Premise Console to Online or Offline

Switching from Offline to Online

In the event you selected the offline configuration while setting up your Avast Business On-Premise Console and later want the console to be online, follow these steps:

1. Open Registry Editor
2. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\AvastMC\Parameters\Java\Options
3. Remove "on-premise-offline" from the profile key (and leave the rest as is)
4. Click Ok and exit the editor

These basedir settings assume the default installation path for Avast Business services. If you have installed your console on a different directory or path, you will need to replace "basedir=C:\..." in step 3 with the proper directory on your device.

Once you have altered the key, restart the Console services (Avast Business Management Console PostgreSQL and Avast Business Management Console) to apply the changes.

Switching from Online to Offline

Customers using the online Avast Business On-Premise Console can begin the process of console configuration for offline or isolated networks the following way:

1. Open Registry Editor
2. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\AvastMC\Parameters\Java\Options
3. Replace the existing profile key with the following:

-Dserver.tomcat.basedir=C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Management Console\console

-Dspring.profiles.active=sharding-global,on-premise,user-config,on-premise-offline

4. Add "on-premise-offline" to the profile key
5. Click Ok and exit the Editor
